I wish the same!

Now getting to the backside of the center, winds are 20-25mph with gusts to 35.1 so far. Definitely not as bad as earlier but will see if it gets any worse. Areas near the coast of Brazoria county are a war zone and I am hearing the same for Matagorda County, Galveston county is getting the brunt right now and I am sure will have similar stories come daylight.

Nick is ruthless here in Beaumont! Very fun storm to watch, I don’t think we have to worry about flooding. The wind is super strong and cool to watch.

It’s coming down in Beaumont. Expecting to lose power any second now.

There's also a potential flood threat for SWLA/SELA, and southern Mississippi in the coming days

Went to bed last night but woke up a bit ago. The wind is really gusting out there (I'm a bit north and west of downtown Houston). Not a whole lot of rain.
