That's right folks, our very own - therock1811/Jeremy - was on the local news here in Cincinnati, sitting right beside veteran Met Steve Hortsmeyer at Channel 12. Steve asked Jeremy to basically give the entire a.m. wx update and discuss Bonnie/Charley too! Good job Jeremy!!! Way kewl wx buddy!!!! High fives all around. FYI, when Steve introduced Jeremy, he said (I'm paraphrasing) - "this is Jeremy, he's attending NKU in the Fall and someday hopes to have my job!" Well, I was just so excited to finally see you on TV this morning. I think you've mentioned in the past you've assisted with local forecasts but I could never catch the segments. Until today!!! Woohoo!!! Tell me though, have you ever given a shameless plug for Storm2K? I must admit I was holding my breath on that one....LOL One more ? - have you ever mentioned S2K to Steve or the Channel 12 Met gang? Just wondering if they've ever browsed our boards here.

PS - almost forgot to add, not only did Jeremy assist with morning wx forecasts (I'm assuming you did it more than once?) but he's hanging around the station all morning it seems. Yes he's going to the Reds game today with Met Steve Horstmeyer and a few other male Ch. 12 members I can't think of right now. Cammie Dierking seemed bummed she couldn't tag along Jeremy! She's the daily a.m. anchorwoman, a very popular member of the Channel 12 Team. She was told - it was a guys' outing. LOL If you're reading this before the game, make her day and bring her something back from the game! Another way to get your name on the air!!!

Hey thanks gang...to say the least I was VERY surprised that Miss Mary caught the show! To answer both of your questions...#1, I do plan to plug this site NEXT THURSDAY morning, 7:45am ET! To be totally honest with you, I was so focused on my brother Mitchell's 10th birthday and making sure I said happy b-day to him on air it slipped my mind...2, I actually have mentioned storm2k to Steve on several occasions...not sure if he does come to the site though...and 3, I only did the one broadcast...he had other guests scheduled for 6:45am or I would have done that one as well...BTW I had to get up at 4:15am this mornign just to get there by 6:45am! 
...now, as far as my day with Steve and the crew...it was me, Steve, John Lomax and one other crew member who went to this afternoon's Reds game in which the Reds won 6-5, Wily Mo Pena pulling out a 2-run shot to right field tying it at 5 apiece...then the game-winner came on D'Angelo Jimenez's RBI single to right! No foul ball though...not quite close enough...I do have a couple things from the game, one a souvenir cup featuring Joe Nuxhall's story, and I have a hat that Steve got me...they comped me today and that was nice ...anyways, thanks for the support gang, MUCH appreciated! Again, Cincinnatians can catch me for the last time this summer next Thursday morning at 7:45am ET!
Oh and BTW, I am someday going to take Steve's job...but I figure that is at least 5 years down the road...Steve is a legend here, I'm surprised you've heard of him VB! And one more thing too...I know you guys may want to ambush me with IM's so feel free!

Jeremy - I forgot to add in my lengthy post that you mentioned Mitchell's BD. Tell him HB from Storm2K will you? You had to get up at 4:15? I think that's when Cammie gets up, she's talked about having that schedule. But she's always so up, what's her secret I want to know?!!! I did hear she went to sleep at the unheard hour 8:30 or something. Maybe I'm thinking of the Channel 19's female anchor. I wouldn't want that schedule.
