LOST new episode!

#1 Postby JQ Public » Thu Jan 06, 2005 2:45 am

Did anyone else just love the new episode?! The new teasers for next week seem great too! I'll be the first in line to get the DVD's when the first season is released on DVD. :)

Thanks again. I have last night's show still on tape. We have 4 shows on Wednesday nights usually to watch. And a direct 8 p.m. conflict (DVR records That 70's Show). But I WILL watch it....trust me, just need some time to get into it.

Daughter has an Ortho appt in a few hours - what fun, a permanent appliance goes on for 15 months. I'm dreading this appt. - she's not the best Ortho patient!!!

I figured it was her boyfriend at the bank who said "You mean I did all this so you get into a safety deposit box?"

But then what was in the safety deposit box? Obviously if it was that little airplane, then the person she killed was before the bank robbery.

Boy oh boy...when Jack was telling her "Don't....don't" after she hid the key from him, I wanted to smack her for him. lol

That's what I am wondering about!! Was the envelope the same one that was pulled out of the box in the bank?

I just found out the the actor who plays "Boone" is a local boy from Mandeville! He and his "sister" will be the focus of the flashbacks tonight!

kewl sunny...I love the flashbacks. My favorite shows right now, "24" and "LOST" come on nights when I'm not home, so I have to tape them and watch them later, and steer clear of any threads if I come online before watching them. lol

I love "LOST"! I've never watched "24" - maybe I should check it out.

You would love it! Suggestion: Season 4 just started. Go and rent (or buy) Season 1 and start there. So much history...that's what I would do if someone would have told me. I watched Season 2 first, then went back and watched Season 1 and was like "ohhhh ok" about a lot of things. Don't get me wrong, I followed Season 2 fine, but a lot of little things/history that I didn't quite understand. So after watching Season 1, I went back and watched Season 2 AGAIN. lol
Then I watched Season 3 last year, week to week. I prefer watching on DVD like I did 1 & 2...the only drawback - you still up REALLY late saying "Ok, I'll just watch ONE more"

It's very addicting and very good!

You can't be you have to watch it from the beginning. I don't think you can gain any opinion of the show unless you do this.

OK, what do ya'll think is down in that "sealed container" thing they found in the ground?

Tonights episode kept me on the edge of my seat, even watching it on tape, I was yelling at my husband in the other room to tell me what the heck was going on...he just laughed and said, just watch. I thought maybe Boone was imaging what was going on with his "sister" but wasn't sure because it seemed so real.

What do you think is making the people think these things are really happening and what is making the compass wrong?

Ideas on what the "monster" is? Just another polar bear on an island?

I now have two episodes on tape to watch. But I WILL watch them. I caught a few minutes last night - Lost looks like my kind of show.

It's that we have 4 shows on Wednesday nights already!

I think the hatch leads to where "they" are hiding, with Claire. I was actually surprised that Boone was hallucinating - I thought they pulled that one off rather well!

I'm not sure what is going on with the compass - but the plane was also "off course". I don't think the monster is a polar bear - maybe the French scientist have been on the island all this time experimenting?

A scene where the big guy accidentally steps on a sea urchin and asks another guy there on the beach to pee on his foot...yea, like that really help him overcome his discomfort??  No thanks...

I just went and looked - it is true!

SCORPION FISH, LIONFISH, STONEFISH, CATFISH, STINGRAYS AND SEA URCHINS:

These all produce venom. The hot water technique described above will help break down the venom. Immerse the area in as hot of water as you can stand (don't burn yourself) for 60-90 minutes. Any pieces of spines or fins should be gently removed while you are wearing gloves, or use small tweezers and pickups. I have to tell you from personal experience, that while perhaps uncivilized, it works - Peeing on a sea urchin sting provides immediate relief from the burning!

Who is "they" and why do they want Claire? Do you think it has anything to do with what that psychic saw before she took her trip? He obviously knew something!

They did pull off the Boone/Shannon scene well. I thought she was dead and I was like....whoa!!

Sayid acted like the compass was just broke or do you think he suspects something more? So the plane was off course, and that's why it crashed? That's weird. (I started watching late and caught up over the "break" with the reruns)

Ok, and what's the deal with Locke? He's one freaky individual. He gives me the creeps.

This show is truly fascinating.

I think "they" are the French scientists who were shipwrecked on the island 16 years before. They have Claire right now, they want her baby for some reason.

I think that Sayid is starting to figure things out. Locke - he's just a strange one. But he seems to have some sort of connection to the island as well. I can't figure that one out!
