Can I get an AMEN on that!

Hello Everyone!

Back for 2007 as well. I was very pleased by the quiet GOM last year after the 2005 season. Now here were are approaching the 2007 season. I am hoping it will be another quiet season but knowing we are in a more active landfall pattern AND being 24 years since Alicia visited me gives me an uneasy feeling especially since we dodged the Rita bullet. Our time for a direct hit in the Houston-Galveston area is coming.

So here I am ready for another season hoping for the best but being much better planned for this one than others.

As a dry Floridian, I am looking forward to this Tropical storm season. It looks like the only way we are going to break this drought. I love this site and am waiting to see how my predictions hold up for 2007. Let the fun begin.

Mike we received a nice wave of rain today here in Boca Raton -- as we are getting deep tropical moisture inflow from a strong ridge located just NE of us. Seems like summer already with the deep easterlies, let us hope this is not a sign of an active Atlantic season.

Time really is flying as only there are 2 months left for the season to start. The important thing is to be prepared and start them early,as you dont want to not get caught in the rush when a threat is looming for your area. Welcome back to all those members who are comming back to the best board of the net,storm2k.And also welcome to the newbies.

Hi all! Back again for another season 8-)

I had a stroke last August and was in the hospital for several months, so I missed half the season...but looking back on it, I didn't miss much :P

Lets see what 2007 is like!
