Agreed.. at least this will bring some much needed rain to Florida. To be honest I am becoming interested in the possibility of something brewing around Florida / Bahamas area toward the Week-end and early next week.

Well it is October !st and the CONUS looks to have made thru a 2nd hurricane season in a row w/o a major hurricane hit....
Less than 10% chance of a Named Tropical System hitting the CONUS after today thru Nov. 30th!!!!

Better wait till maybe Thanksgiving or so to say something like that. One word: Wilma.

After 2005 can you blame me for no hits by a major hurricane on the CONUS!!
Prayers for those who do/did get/got hit this season and all before.....

We'all know to watch the Caribbean through November. We're just barely past the soltice.

We've had training storms for hours since Sunday afternoon, and the same pattern last week. The darkest skies I've ever seen. Thunder woke everybody at 3:30 am.
Let up a little this afternoon. Just started raining again this moment.

The first GFDL plots are in.However,it dissipates 90L in 18 hours.I suspect that the next runs will have the complete 126 hours.

since noon here in West Palm Beach pressure at the air port has gone from 29.97 down to 29.85. We have gotten so much rain (northern county) the last couple of days our pool has had to be drained down twice for it was overflowing. It just keeps coming. In each round every couple of hours there is always a sudden very heavy downpour for about 15 minutes. IT hasn't necessarily reminded me of tropical weather but it has been constant and does come in waves.

Virginia Key pressure at 29.81 in and still dropping. The pressure has dropped 6 mb in the last 24 hrs. There is definitely low pressure developing east of SE FL. This thing is slowly deepening.

Infared SAT shows at least a MLC between Vero Beach and Melbourne just offshore moving west. Should bring in lots of rain tonight over the FL peninsula.

Agreed as in 100% guaranteed that nothing tropical could form from 90L.(Well maybe 98%)

OK looking at water vapor there is clearly a rotation over the western end of cuba looks
like a low may be developing there.
