I wonder if it could become fully wrapped with the little time it has between where it is at and land. That could be bad as far as rain and possible flooding. I say this because I read the NC weather from the news and it said possible 3-5 inches..you wrap it fully around and its could be a lot different. Talked to my wife the only thing she is worried about is her garden go figure..lol I mean it is not like winds should be to bad

Perhaps you were right, or the 999 mb was from a vorticity rotating around.

Watching WTVT Channel is in the Tornadic cell. Near Tampa now.

yes, after we had confirmed tornados on the ground and plenty of signatures, seemed like they missed it by at least an hour, oh well

That plane was supposed to be on station until 6 am EDT. I wonder if they had to bail due to the turbulence?

* UNTIL 445 AM EDT

* AT 408 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
A TORNADO 7 MILES SOUTHEAST OF MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE...OR 11
MILES SOUTH OF TAMPA...MOVING NORTHWEST AT 20 MPH.

* THE TORNADO WILL BE NEAR...
PETER O KNIGHT AIRPORT...DAVIS ISLANDS.
MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE...SOUTH TAMPA.

WTVT reporting they are expecting lots of tornadic activity today. Expecting sun to come out some to add to instability.
