Bonnie got smashed by the shear, clearly this is just going to be a constant feature, maybe this season is confused with an El nino year!

Indeed - this is a clear sign that we will have outrageous shear across the entire basin into perpetuity! Maybe next decade!KWT wrote:Bonnie got smashed by the shear, clearly this is just going to be a constant feature, maybe this season is confused with an El nino year!

As predicted, global warming is destroying hurricane. This will have drastic implication for the Earth's climate. Without hurricanes to transport heat to the poles, ice may remain all year. Perhaps glaciers will stop their retreat and once again cover much of North America. No, I don't think the current hurricane season should be declared a bust. August and September are the bread and butter of the season. I for one am happy that the ULL sheared Bonnie.....just think what might have happened had the shear not been there. Miami and New Orleans would be sharing another hurricane.......MGC

I'm sticking by my guns. My Analog year is 98 not 05 or any other year. Even the first 2 names are the same.

The ironic thing is this thread was made in jest orginally, but some people are actually now being deadly serious about the whole idea of a season busting....

Since the season is a bust I bought me a 17 foot aluminun hull boat to spend the next few months out in the GoM fishing. I heard the waves were going to be tame as well due to the wave machine being turned off by the government.
