Absolutely crazy...

While they are all radar indicated, there are currently six, yes six, tornado warnings for SE Texas...

It's almost as if y'all are experiencing a landfalling hurricane/TS ... with all of that torrential rain and vorticity.

Wow! Be safe folks!!

Same here Yanks - it's BAD. Street flooded and water coming up fast. Wind just blew something into the front door (don't even want to know what it was).

A crazy day indeed. Of downtown on the Metro Bus. I will get a firsthand look at any flooding and report back what I see. Its very windy this morning. The atmopshere is very unstable. You almost feel the instabilty.

Extreme - I don't think we got that much under the Bear Creek Dome, but I'd guesstimate a 50+ microburst. Dogs are both going nuts; husband still in bed...

I'm still not altogether awake yet, so someone please tell me if this situation will only get worse with daytime heating? After that big downburst, looks like we have a bit of a break-hopefully enough to drain off some of this water.

I think a tornado just passed a mile or two to my south! No strong winds here, but in that direction transformers were popping and there was a rumbling sound! I can also hear the sound of power being shorted out! I hope everyone ends up ok!
