Take a look at this buoy at 26N 86W, pressures dropping considerably, winds increasing, not quite TS force, but getting there.

I am still on alert...I think it's going to be a close call for TX/LA border...Circulation is going to be found further south I'm afraid. Hope I'm wrong. This thing is stalled.

New EURO has Grand Isle Louisiana (edited)

Here in Lakeland area pressures even lower down to 29.68in Hg from 29.88 same time yesterday.

I clicked on the link. Unless you have the numerical plots, it appears to landfall Saturday morning and not Sunday evening.

Based on recon, it is about 2/3 the way to a closed circulation so far - a southwest or south wind would make such.

Which new Euro- 0z or 12z? As of right this second, I cannot find 12z.

I see a couple of "swirls" on radar. Is the surface Low NW or SW of Tampa?

NHC initialized the inhouse models at 27.1ºN and 84.4ºW. All 3 versions of the BAM are NW to NNW movement, landfall about 86º to 87º, except LBAR gets a little closer to New Orleans. But I haven't seen LBAR do a good job yet, compared to the other models.
