Pretty good jump west on those track updates today. Lowered the wind probs some in west central fl

It looks like they are pushing back landfall as well. Last night it looked like l very very early Wednesday Morning. Now it's looking more like mid to late morning on Wednesday for a landfall, which means more time for it to strengthen.

Definitely organizing now. The CDO has gone from taking a "squashed bug" appearance to a symmetrical one. There is still shear impacting the system, but we're finally seeing spiral banding pick up on the northern side.

My posts are my own personal opinion, defer to the National Hurricane Center (NHC) and other NOAA products for decision making during hurricane season.

Yeah, I think the AF plane will find a hurricane when it gets there. I hope everybody is preparing, or already prepared and in the process of getting out of harm's way.

Still experiencing some shear IMO, and this was shown in the models so no surprises.
