What is ur take on this man,,so you think we will get heavy snow up here along the red river or do you think we will get a dusting to an inch like some poeple are saying[/quote]

Where your at in Ladonia, at this point; noone is forecasting a dusting to an inch. But your not to far off from the Winter Storm Warning area. IMO before its all said and done you can expect 2-4". I think at 6:35 i recommend you to go look outside and check back with me. What im really concerned about for your area in terms of impacts, is that you have a realistic possibility of seeing some light freezing rain or freezing drizzle develop overnight and early morning hours monday. This would happen while temps were well below freezing which would be very hazardous..because on top of 26 degree temperatures and snow on the ground would be a light accumulation of ice on roadways. So stay tuned for that ice potential.
Thanks man,,,I dont want to ice I just want the snow but I guess its a package deal huh. do you think it could change back for us getting heavy snow or do you think this is it?

I was just stressing the Ice possibility for your area Monday morning/tonight. Your time for "heavy snow" if at all, is today. Your in better shape then most people for snow as your are northeast of the metro. Like I said IMO expect atleast 1-3" and 2-4" snow accumulation is more than possible. Check back with me.

Precip shield southwest of the metro (area we look at to effect us next) looks to be consolidating/intesifiying nicely ATM. Stalling a bit maybe aswell. Not quite backbuilding, but in general nice trend to see.

Keeping an eye on temps.

So, I see the GFS still sucks. Anyways looks like there is still a chance we get some snow out of this. I woke up and saw it was raining outside and then checked the GFS and figured "Oh just rain" but the NWS has given me some hope.

Here is to a slow transition to snow!

Good Morning. Well it has started light sleet is coming one or two pellets here and there. Looks like the bulk of precip is on its way. Going to be an interesting day to say the least.

I'm in the Frisco, TX area. Let the dog out around 2am and it was bone dry. I got up around 7am and we had .32 inches of rain. It's currently raining and 40 degrees. If we do see some snow today, I think we'd be lucky if it sticks to the grass. I'm kinda bummed we probably won't see a good snowfall, but after the December we had, even heavy, cold rain will be most appreciated.

Well, many worried about temperatures and were right. Going to be a fun day in the far northeastern regions. Still awaiting those pictures from Kelarie today!

Lesson learned: No GFS support = no snow
