looks a little weaker this run. also appears to be heading for the yucatan in 216 hours

wow i think this is the first run that the gfs shows this not making it up into the gulf.
btw that is one massive high over the gulf states. no way this can make it into the gom if that is there.

looks that way...also weaker....not showing up at 500mb level....weak 850 also....

yeah rock im not buying that massive ridge this run. i still think this is a big gom threat in about 2 weeks.

trof picks it up....though the high around the great lakes doesnt drop down after the trof exits the EC...

looks close to Tampa....ouch....major destruction if that panned out...
timing will be everything with this TC...if it develops....still though Texas to FL and no in between so far....

that would be one crazy solution...but this is not verifying. gfs stills develops it though and thats still the most important thing to take from this run. we have a long time to watch this. about 2 weeks imo.

and its back to fl this run...im starting to see a pattern though...it looks more and more like a rather significant trough long term that will lift this storm out of the carribean....

yeah doesnt get going until entering the SGOM on this run....937mb is a major and if this verified Tampa DT would be under some serious water....
