What's wild is I don't think we had a temp/dewpoint combo like that all Summer...

Yeah it's nasty out today. Hopefully the last day like this until next summer. Bring on some fall air!!

While im definitely not getting my hopes up yet, i do see the EPS/ GEFS guidance show the EPO/ AO both trending neutral to negative as we get into early october, hopefully we can get some more fall like air to move into the country, need to see less ridging over the continental US and more so off the pacific NW coast and Alaska, but at least it appears the teleconnections are trending toward maybe some cooler air getting pulled down into the US in early October, will keep watching!

Looking like a textbook 7/10 split for DFW with the storms.

Definitely looking like a rainy morning with the weakening QLCS moving them, though probably not much thunder/lighting (for DFW) as the front has outrun it.

The activity is not as intense or heavy as the radar indicates, I'm in the orange/yellow and it just a real light rain, no thunder/Lightening and this will quickly pass through and we will see how cool it is behind the front. :(

It apparently did a leapfrog (again) over majority of DFW and got another new breath of wind for the eatern suburbs, lol...

Metroplex got absolutely scammed on this event, only 0.06” at DFW.

Only got .15. That's lame. Less than my smart sprinklers had in its forecast when it shut off watering ahead of its start.

Definitely feels like moisture is lacking. The folks down south are really in a world of hurt.

There's still potential (based on radar) for more rain in Austin, but we got very little in the last hour as the front passed through. Maybe a trace, but not much more. At Camp Mabry we have 0.08 for all of September. Airport has 0.18. Not good considering Sep is supposed to be the 4th rainiest month. Oct is 3rd so hopefully we'll catch up then.

0.32" here. We got leap-frogged by the heaviest storms too. Enough to keep my grass hanging in there. Looks like we're done with the 90's for a while.

I hope everyone enjoyed the rain today (if you got any) because that looks to be it for quite a while. It could be well over a week or two before we see rain chances return. I'm not liking the look of our weather pattern this fall. Above normal temps and below normal rainfall sucks.

So pretty much you’re typical texas weather in october, not surprised anymore with la nina in place for what seems to be the 100,000th year in a row lol, should trend back to enso neutral in winter though

Don’t know about you but both events missed me. It’s ok. I got 3-4” with that surprise one Monday morning.

latest GEFS/ EPS guidance keep showing the EPO going negative around a value of -2 through the first week and a half of october, would be nice to get more fall like air into our part of the world, this warmth has been disgusting
