Yeah I saw that too. I lived in DFW until 4 months ago so I read them daily; they know their stuff, so it is concerning, I have noticed in the past with tropical systems they tend to toe the NHC line. Seems strange for them to say that.

It is still dipping ever so slightly south of west...

The last hr though it seems to be taking a more "dip" to the south.

I can honestly say after watching, tracking numerous storms...this one sort of makes me want to throw up. This type of storm and its projected intensity, you know lives will be lost in LA/MS/AL/FL.........living outside Houston (south) I know we dont want any part of this B%$^#.....

OK, I need to call it a night. These are the last 2 images.

On the second image, I highlighted in red (240 degrees) because she has been on this trajectory almost the entire time since she cleared the coast last night, specifically since the 81.8 position earlier today.

Enjoy!!

(edited to correct 1st image and add 81.8 clarification)

Hey Steve, one other thing, when you click the thumbnail to bring up the image in a new window - be sure to click the image again to bring it fullsize (it's blurry if you don't) - then you should see the details, including the time. Time is posted on the top right - times are CDT though.

Good luck to you man, I know this one's gotta be stressful.
