Winter 2020-2021 :cold:

All observations are in Tecumseh, OK unless otherwise noted.

Winter posts are focused mainly for Oklahoma & Texas.

Take any of my forecasts with a grain of salt, refer to the NWS, SPC, and NHC for official information

Never say Never with weather! Because ANYTHING is possible!

I am only a tropical weather enthusiast. My predictions are not official and may or may not be backed by sound meteorological data. For official information, please refer to the NHC and NWS products.

I have the utmost respect for the pilots that have guts to fly into these storms and provide the meteorological community with vital data. This storm will be studied for years I have a feeling.

I didn't personally track Patricia (though I definitely became aware of it once it made history), but this is giving me Patricia vibes.

I hope everyone on AF304 is strapped tight with everything locked in place. This could be a once-in-a-lifetime ride.

Definitely reminiscent of staying up to watch Patricia recon. Boy what a monster.

Not a meteorologist, in fact more of an idiot than anything. You should probably check with the NHC or a local NWS office for official information.

Probably not too bad at higher altitudes.

I am only a meteorology enthusiast who knows a decent amount about tropical cyclones. Look to the professional mets, the NHC, or your local weather office for the best information.

Higher altitudes are far worse. Flight level winds are always higher than on the surface.

My posts are my own personal opinion, defer to the National Hurricane Center (NHC) and other NOAA products for decision making during hurricane season.

Very clear secondary eyewall in progress, but doesn't seem to be impeding the inner eyewall yet. That'll change soon.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it not as dangerous as one would think (obviously still dangerous), but I read somewhere that since the winds are generally coming from one consistent direction, it's easier for the pilot to correct/compensate.
