Curious to get thoughts on the amount of rainfall this might be packing.
Having been badly hit last weekend in Trinidad, the last thing we need is a slow-moving wave full of moisture and ready to dump its rains.
I don;t expect development, but wonder too whether any of this convection might get absorbed into 94L.

The circulation of this is showing up better on the latest satellite loops.

Is it this band crossing the islands now?

The 0z ECMWF just picked it up, it seems.... out ahead of 94L, just south of Hispaniola in this frame. It's already acting as a SAL-catcher, but could it play some implication in 94L's future track and intensity?

Is this feature still going? Is it the mystery disturbance in the Florida Straits right now?
