Yes indeed, Saturday, October 26th (Sunday, October 27th at 2:00am) is the last Saturday(/Sunday) of the month. :)

Here is a trivia question for everyone:

In what year did changing our clocks ahead one hour, in April taking place on the last Saturday night (Sunday morning) of the month move to the first Saturday night (Sunday morning) in April?

opera ghost wrote:I LOVE changing over in the fall. I'm a night owl naturally- my eyes are unusually light sensitive (so bright sun gives me a headache) and I love the winter- any chance to do things in the dark is great for me *grins*

As you can probably tell :) ... I am more of a night person than a morning person, too. I also have a sensitivity to bright light.

From 1976 until 1986 (the year I graduated HS) -- because of the energy crisis in the 70's.

Right... 1986. I never knew it was any different before 1976.

If you can't remember which Sunday in October to change back....just remember Halloween is always observed in standard time.

That's true, Kathy. The October, "Fall Back" was always the last Saturday, Sunday morning, officially at 2:00 AM.

I can't wait for the time change, either, Opera. I'm a person after your own heart. Bring on the night for us night owls!
