Just an update:
I was selected for jury duty and the case started yesterday. It concluded today.
We found him guilty on all 4 counts. When I got home this afternoon, my mother pointed out an article in today's newspaper:

What a stinking feeling knowing that I have helped condemn this man to a 90 year sentence.

I have served on 4 jurys.... two were criminal...one was a drunk driver - convicted him and he was given 7 years in jail. Next was a really wild case - a lawyer was pulled over for suspect of DWI - she refused the breathlyzer test and to do any of the videotaped procedures they had on her....with no evidence of her being intoxicated the jury found her not guilty. Remember the lawyer Rusty Hardin who grilled Anne Nicole Smith on her money trial in Houston - well he was the lawyer on this case....very charmastic guy.
Yeah here in Houston(Harris County) on criminal cases they give you lunch - on civil cases you are on your own....
