Tom - I think it's great that we have such a variety of ages represented here at Storm2K. And you all don't treat me like an oldie...LOL Seriously, I just thought if Kevin knew how many younger members near his own age belong here, he may feel more at home? Or more welcome? That's all I was getting at. Keep up the great work you do on Stats Tom. We all appreciate the countless hours you put into compiling them.

I agree, Mary. I don't believe the ages of the members here has anything to do with why Kevin doesn't like this site; but I can't speak for him of course.

I know at least two dozen of the membership here checks out the stats at least relatively recently and perhaps more gradually each and every day.

Yeah I think I got there shortly after the peak chat days. Plus that was when I was just getting started on the internet and didn't really know what the heck I was doing, lol. And I do remember TLC, I forgot what her first name was.

I meant we both don't seem to get along at "the other board." Not that we one on one don't get along there. Sorry that came out incorrectly.

Also, Kevin, there are many here that think more like you (and me) when it comes to at least one subject.

Correction/Edit:

Kevin and I are a lot of like. We don't even seem to get along well with others at another weather board; but we still post there.

Just had a brief IM exchange from Raine (Jackie) in Pen Argyl. She and her family are doing fine. Kids started school today. She will be going to Europe soon to visit her sister there, and then on October 15th will start training for inflight service. She is still planning on training in Cincy so that could be an opportunity for a few of you folks.

Anyway, she said to wish you her best and let her know she is well and busy.

Steve - Europe?! Wow, Jackie will be quite the traveler. I'm sure her job helps with reduced airfare. Good for her! I'll have to drop her a note. When she gets here, which will really be northern KY where our airport is located, we could get together. I could round up Jeremy, CincinnatiSun/Steve, polarbear, and Tracy (she's an hour south of the airport if I remember correctly). And if Kim Perez would be in town visiting relatives, we all could have quite the visit!!! Throw in Jeremy's Meteorology friends from local Channel 12 and we'd have ourselves quite a party!

Well, anyways thanks for keeping us updated on raine.

Kevin - I heard from raine/Jackie!!! I sent her a note after noticing Bill Keneely out on location. That got her attention - she said my email made her smile. LOL Jackie explained that she's very busy training for her new job, a soon to be flight attendant for Comair (a division of Delta Airlines). She will have to travel to Cincy for a while so hopefully we'll get to meet someday soon. I'll keep you posted if that works out. I gave her this link Kevin and the Bill Keneely one, so who knows, maybe if she has time oneday, she'll post? She did sound very, very busy though.....I can imagine how her 3 kids keep her hopping.
