whether who eats crow or not, whether they say its a depression or not, every system that esp was a system at one time or another, needs to be watched, this system like its predessor almost the same track did the same thing, so the lesson is:it ain't over till its over. Everyone on the msg board who has tracked tropical systems for awhile on this board should know this.

Yep an dJerry had 80mph winds in Baytown and we had a breeze at my house with no rain!!! Thaw is 40 miles away folks.
I was staying with a friend of mine. They had gusts over 100 on Galveston and the winds were 10-15 kts in Webster as the storm passed 20 miles to our east.
