Thank the Good Lord, our power was restored this afternoon. I've found a bright side to our power-less situation: next month's power bill should be a bit cheaper, lol. Thanks for all the warm wishes everyone. :)

Glad to hear that. I cannot imagine 6 days without power(heck, I can't even imagine ONE without power). I go insane if it's off for more than 5 minutes here.

Wonderful, Jennifer (Chad and Dustin, too)! -- I'm glad to hear you have your power back, as well. Maybe you wil actually save 25% this month.

Jen - halleluiah!!! That would be nice - a lower bill next month. So glad you had power restored. Must feel wonderful to run the microwave again, do laundry, etc.

That is a positive way to spin a negative situation!!! I am sure that it wasn't easy all the time to keep your spirits up, especially with a child, electricity is such a priority.

When we were without power for 4 days after the May 4th tornadoes (and I am speaking about the whole town, population 8,000) it was crazy around here. I only hope that it was a calm week without electricity for you all.
