All I am saying is that in the time frame of that original loop, longer now as i type, the eye has NOT progressed westerly. Zoom and speed up the animation. People are getting confused because the northern and eastern structures of the elliptical wall are contracting to the west and southwest.

The 8PM said she was nearly stationary but if part of that elongated circulation gets over land it may keep the intensity from increasing. Just have to wait and read the recon reports as they come in.

I was watching that eliptical loop - and actually expected to see part of it go ashore - but nope....it was almost as if it rotated away.

Squint your eyes and look. Do not focus on the encroaching rainbands in Orlando, Sarasota ,Sebring and Ft. Myers. I aint saying no more.

There is no question that this is moving due west and is about to make landfall - check again if you have any doubt.

This will be a huge flooder (Floyd) in FLA. Very slow......

Watch........

Definitely onshore now. The center of the eye may be moving farther away from the western edge of the eye temporarily, but the western edge of the eye is DEFINITELY onshore.

Everybody always underestimates the water. This is going to make Noah's Arch look like a canoe if it doesn't get moving.......

VERY BAD!!!!
