Here is proof it went wsw in the past two hours....

I placed the marker with the 50mile ring exatly in the center of the storm, and it practically fit perfectly! Then over two hours, the sotrm has moved to this position:

It is a she, and Ivan is a he. Since 1979, they started alternating male/female names. Before 1979, they were all female.

Ok, verifying. New frames show S motion has ceased, for now.... about last 5 frames... 25 mins?

I think you are confusing the wsw motion with the odd shape of eye. The eye is not ciruclar so it's motion gives the an apparent wsw motion but still moving n of due w. She's moving around 280-285.

Incorrect... check it out for yourself....

--Even though tropical storms and hurricanes are given
names, they should NOT be referred to as "he" or "she". A
tropical storm is an "it". Please don't "humanize" it.
