How does th NHC rate as far as accuracy? Personally. I think they pretty much nailed Charley and Frances, as much as you could "nail' Hand grenades, horseshoes, etc., meaning their predictions are within a perfectly reasonable range in my eyes.

of course they nailed it once they were only forecasting out to oh say....2 hours....but there seemed to be a lack of confidence throughout the whole ordeal...at least thats what i sensed.....

but all said and done...they COULD have done alot worse:) .....

I don't know, they managed to get the right people evacuated, for Frances, although I thing Charley surprised the people south of us. I think they were under evacuation orders too though.

you know...this thing is going to sneak up on some portion of the US so fast i fear its going to take some people by suprise...mainly becuase they just cant comprehend that say...FL...is getting another hurricane...this could cause some problems with some people...emotionally....stresswise...ya know what im saying...

I am inexplicably lazy and refuse to break out photoshop! I also found out mapblast will plot lat and long points when I was tracking frances... now if it will only connect them! :)
