I agree about the vacation home thing. It's off season for us (even more so in the last month :roll: ) and I have had three beachfront condo's sitting vacant since before Charley. I haven't gotten one call for them. I would have been happy to offer a discounted rate and relax the minimal night rental had someone asked.
I guess I won't be receiving any phone calls for this one! :wink:

Finding a hotel room is definately an issue. I am not sure what to advise my Tampa relatives. They live right on the water in a third story apartment near the gandy in S. Tampa. I wouldn't stay there, that much is for sure. Kissimme or Orlando seems a good bet but are there any rooms available?

NHC has a 16% chance that the eye will pass within 65nm of Tampa Bay by 8AM Tuesday. I'd plan accordingly, if you're not still boarded up.
