several, i live in carteret county we have had bertha fran floyd, bonnie isabell dennis, ive been her for 43 years, actally carteret county has not had a direct land fall we but we have had it just about 20 miles south. i didnt say i want hard ship but i know that comes with these systems. if you live on the coast you have to take the good with the bad. i enjoy the winds wave and rain. didnt say i want anyone hurt. no hard feelings please. :raincloud:

No hard feelings at all! Just went through Charley and those who haven't been through a hurricane have no idea how awful it really is. Pictures on the news don't tell of the emotional and financial hardship they cause.

Well I had all of the hurricanes you named off with the eye going over us. And good old Floyd left me home less for a year and a half till we rebuilded. I have family in Morehead City. and go fishing over that way every week-end.
Sorry if I came off a little strong but we really don't know what Jeanne will do. We might know in a day or so. It would be nice if we did we could get ready for her in good time. But it will be running our heads off tring to get things done. :think:
