I certainly hope not, but there could be another 'cane from the GOM that hits Florida this season.
How much more of this craziness can Floridians take?
I really hope to God that JEANNE is the last hurricane to impact Florida for the next couple of years. They've had enough. It's gonna take some time to rebuild.

I meant major hurricanes when they hit Florida.

Yup - don't see any reason why it couldn't happen. Mitch & Michelle - gotta watch those M storms! It seems like that W Carib. area is almost always favorable for development in October......it's just a roll of the dice.
