Good thing there isn't 35 days in September ...

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

If you get what we got from Jeanne (and it admittedly is nothing compared to what FL got), you won't be laughing by this time tomorrow night. You'll be sick of weather "remnants", and a bit grouchy.

Keep us posted on how it goes in SC & Good Luck!!

In regards to continuous rain, it hasn't occurred. FWIW, though with any heavy cell or rainband comes through, rainfall rates have generally been ranging from 1"-2" PER HOUR ... the N/S oriented band that has set up in the Midlands and into Colleton and Upper Dorchester County are easily producing rates of 2"-3" per hour, so I can sympathize ... I actually wouldn't mind getting one last band since this is the first rainfalls since even before Ivan passed well west of here (no rainfall recorded) ...

Cool. Ya'll are on the "Speed Hurricane Remnant" plan. Good for you...maybe it will be a lot, really fast, but at least will be OVER faster for you.

This non-predicted rain has been going all day. We're still getting some heavy-ish stuff. I thought we were almost through....had a break for a while...now we've got rain again. ICK.

This stuff has NO place to go....we're still bouncing back from IVAN, and he smacked us around pretty good flood-wise.

Take care and be safe!
