Both of you -- keep in touch. It is definitely getting nastier by the moment.

Rain is falling, still, at the moment, but, the ice
is very noticable on the trees and power lines,
already.

If I still have power, I'll surely keep in touch, Garrett!

Thanks, Miss Mary! Right now, it's still coming down
as rain, but, those tree limbs and power lines look
like glass...not good...I see that you all are getting hit,
as well - stay safe and warm! TWC showcased Jeremy's
hometown, this morning, I see - I guess we may be
getting a white - or ICY Christmas, eh?

Thanks breeze, we'll be careful, planning to leave early tomorrow morning (Friday) trying to gather up enough heavy coats to bring, looks like a cold cold Christmas this year.

Thought I would give one final roundup on the totals from the storm. I think it is fair enough to call this a sleet storm. We have nearly 3 inches of accumulation on the ground, with most of it sleet. Some snow did fall last night, though it was well under an inch. Roads are still covered and morning rush hour was very treacherous. Temperatures will not be above freezing again until Sunday. Expecting single digits with wind chills below zero tonight.

Thanks for the update jkt! Glad you didn't lose power. Folks to your north weren't as fortunate. Be careful on the highways!!!
