1967 Mustang. Hunter green with a black vinyl top. 3 on the floor. Cost me over $1800 new! Heck, now I couldn't buy a '67 Mustang for anything near that price!

1967 Mercury Cougar. My dad helped me rebuild the engine (it was a screamer). Wish I had it now!

The first was a 66 Mustang coupe, 8-cyl Cleveland engine with
NO air conditioning...in the desert. I thought I was in heaven
after travelling by bicycle :D

Actually, Steph, the Polara was the "babe magnet"; I had decals of "Wile E. Coyote" on the front quarter panels ( this was the "Age of the Roadrunner"), and it was a typical, block-long Detroit product which looked awesome driving up to some HS soiree, especially when cleaned up!

I should've added to my post that the "Mustang" HELPED to get the ladies in the car - it wasn't the only reason! :wink:
