I noticed the single red flags on Walton County beaches and then double reds on Okaloosa County beaches. Interesting.

Since I live in one of the historically safer regions of Florida (Tallahassee), this storm is doing much the same thing that the ones from last year did... Just giving us some showers and thunderstorms. Really nothing to be worried about thus far except that it has been pretty wet around here for the past week and flooding is a concern in many areas.

Seriously, nothing major thus far in this neck of the woods. I expect to see some power outages and such this far east and maybe some relatively minor tornadic activity but nothing that is really that far from normal for summer pattern weather in the Florida panhandle and big bend region.

5:00 AM, it's been raining very hard for the last 30 minutes here. Still no real wind but I'm expecting that to change shortly. Should be getting light soon so I'll be able to see what's going on outside a little better.

Thanks, Keith. I was just wondering if you were down near the bay. I'm in West Mobile and, so far, we're just getting rain. Haven't noted much wind here.

There is just a light drizzle falling here in Cantonment. It was a bit breezy earlier but it's pretty calm right now.
