This thing is >this close< to a node point where it could go one way or the other....on WV, it looks like another "hammer" of MCC blow-off is heading around and down toward the TC; if this one finally decapitates the LCC, then it should be able to begin tracking SW. But it that convective blob keeps sucking the center back toward it, that'll be difficult.
