Go here and get at least a 10 image loop of the area. Use high powered zoom and loop it real fast. It looks like the lower/mid level clouds are rotating around that location.

Matt-hurricanewatcher wrote:Not when your getting 3 islands to the south of the cirulation saying west you don't. At least not likely. You can clearly see that this system is becoming better oreganized as time go's by. It also has a upper high...So don't count on it not developing. This is starting to be alot like Dennis/Charley/Isidor type system.
Matt, you're just imagining things because you want a storm to develop so badly. it's certainly not getting any better organized and there is no LLC. Winds are simply light and variable across the southern Windward Islands, Trinidad, and Tobago. If there was a circulation center developing, then it would be clear for everyone to see. We wouldn't have to guess whether there is one or not. It's always the same thing with every wave (with a lot of the people here on the forum) - just chasing "swirls".
That said, this wave certainly does have the potential to develop in a few days when it slows down and low-level convergence increases. But it's not developing today. Convection has decreased considerably in the past 3-4 hours.

You don't need quickscat winds, there are many observations across the islands. All show 5-15 kt easterly winds at the surface. Again, if there was a circulation center you wouldn't need to zoom in on images and use a magnifying glass, it would be quite obvious.

I certainly don't see any 35kt winds on the latest quickscat image, though:

Ok, that's it. I'm done trying to convince all you people I disagree with that there is no storm developing in the Caribbean today. Believe whatever you want. Just check back in the central to western Caribbean in 2-3 days for possible development.

Geeezzz...I'll be sure I don't visit what ever website you are that requires 10-12 steps. To see a spin, you need to watch a loop, that's just common sense.

I guest I should just stop looking for developing systems. I suck at it!!!
I'm sorry for acting like I'm more then I'm. I'm not! I'm deeply sorry. I will watch them for now on. My guest or thinking should not be listen to as fact.
I'm nothing more then a w!shcaster!
