Well, one good thing about this (at least for Mobile) is that the system hasn't started it's northwestward turn yet. Another advisory or two and we'll be over to Lafayette.

2 models have it going right over me in Terrebonne Parish. And I am a whole 60 miles west of New Orleans. I think it will be a close call and give us a good scare like Camille, Ivan, and Georges. I remember boarding up our house and thought for sure that Georges was coming our way. It turned at the last minute and we ended up with blue skies and sunshine. I sure don't want this on anybody. 7 people already died. The bad thing about a GOM storm is that you get no fish storms.

DO NOT think like that. You have to think it will hit you, be prepared for the worst...
