My sweet blackfaced fawn boxer Chelsea is as lazy as ever. She slept next to me last night and is as laxidasical as she usually is during the daytime pausing from her slothfulness to follow me into the kitchen in hopes of a cheap snack or dropping at every opportunity.

I caught my dog Bently, a border collie, sneaking a drink of Crown Royal from the liquor cabinet, while smoking one of my cigarets...it is so unlike him. Most of the time he'll just crack a beer open from the fridge and relax while watching the Animal planet.

My dogs Radar O'Reilly and Corporal Klinger are very sedate today...No hurricane party water funneling or water drinking games that I know of have taken place yet. But the word is out amongst my canine neighbors that the doggie poker party has been cancelled for tonight!

On a more serious side: I have been outside this morning and didn't hear the usual chirpping of birds...

One thing I have noticed everytime a storm is approaching.... We see lots of frogs out and last night there they were everywhere.

Well, our little dog is spending a lot of time under the bed. Usually, he'll lay at the foot of the bed to snooze. Today, every time I pass the bedroom, I can see his fluffy tail sticking out from under the bed ruffle!
Also, we've had a major problem with ants this morning: kitchen, bathroom, laundry room! They're nuts and driving me nuts!
