Well I have lived in the following Texas cities:
Plano (3 times)
Lubbock (College @ Tech - Go Red Raiders!! #19 in AP Poll!!)
Dallas
Houston (2 times)
Frisco
Corinth
And now Spring/Woodlands
Out of all of them, I like Spring the best. We have TONS of trees, a beautiful neighborhood with nice neighbors, and a great commute (via Hardy). I just love it here with all the conveniences of The Woodlands.
#2 would have to be Frisco, just because everything is brand new, and again lots of stuff. The only thing about it is virtually NO native trees (like most of the Metroplex) and cookie-cutter subdivisions.
I don't know much about the areas you listed but I know people like Keller/Southlake/Colleyville a lot. There are trees there too, if that's something that matters to you.
Anyone from Texas
