I enjoyed the fake news forecasts, but they should have worked harder to make it more realistic with the coordinates.
Coordinate 1: 03 pm, 27.0/91.3, NW 15mph
Coordinate 2: 12 am, 28.4/93.3, NW 15mph
That I don't have a big problem with (although 1.4 N and 2.0 W might be closer to WNW), but then:
Coordinate 3: 03 am, 28.8/94.2, NNW 15mph
Anyone could tell you that that's WNW, not NNW.
So I suppose the TV station got destroyed by Cody as well?

Exactly- this would be an appropriate post to make if Rita were 50 miles from Houston, but this thing could easily miss Houston by 100+ miles. Sounds to me like we've got some adrenalin junkies here. Even if it did hit close to Houston, my bet is the dry air over Texas will weaken it significantly prior to landfall.
You obviously don't know too much about Hurricanes if you post something like the bolded portion above. If Rita was 50 miles offshore and of the intensity currently predicted for landfall all routes off the coast and most of the routes from the evacuation zones would already be flooded. Winds would be in the 75 mph+ range already at that point over most of the area. NOT a good thing to be driving around in hurricane force winds on flooded streets last time I checked reality.

IMO....
My favortie part, the TV station lost power and is on backup generator to only allow broadcast and a few lights. but all the computers were still on , along with that nice big TV behind him.
Don't forget the Jim Cantore clone with tons of blurry debris flying by, but having very little problem standing up.

I don't have a problem with the video being posted. I do have a problem with someone posting "this is about to happen" as if people reading this might not have loved ones living in that area. Think how you'd feel if you had family there, you don't know much about hurricanes, and you come here and see that post. If anyone has a problem with my post, too bad- I stand by it 100%.
I have family in Lake Jackson, which if the current track holds, will be the extreme NE quadrant of the storm. I don't need anyone saying "this is going to happen..!" It's good to know the possibilities, like we talked about in NOLA when Ivan seemed headed that way last year, but I am VERY concerned about my family, and I don't appreciate this thread!
