Affirmative Action....

HOPEFULLY, we will get to the point where affirmative action will finally be laid to rest as a mechanism of providing an equal opportunity to everyone. I think that there are people/organizations that still are prejudice and therefore would discriminate if they could. I also think that society has come far from the days of everything being "black and white" and ability should be what counts on the resumes and applications, not race.

If 50 people take a test and the person who gets the highest score is purple... well then the purple person deserves first place!!!
I come from a country where this issue is just SSSOOOOO huge, so I will just keep quiet about it. My opinion still stands, if you can do something better and have the knowledge and the skill to out perform another person... WHO cares what color you are. I certainly dont.
