Don5 welcome I'm from Boca Raton and I enjoy the winter board even though theirs no such thing as winter in S FL. Being originally from New Jersey I really miss the NE snowstorms,but reading other peoples posts about how many inches their going to get brings me back thats why I like this board during non hurricane season.

Hey wxwatcher -

Can you re-post your original maps for Wednesday - Friday (Thanksgiving). They keep progressively updating and are now moving beyond Thanksgiving weekend. Thanks!

Regarding snow in the Western North Carolina mountains (where I live), there's certainly a chance you could see some (we've already had a small episode this year), but there's an equal chance of 55 degrees and rain. I like the Watertown, NY recommendation. The water temperatures in the lakes have got to be warm - so when the Lake Effect machine does set-up, it might be big!

Snowshoe West Virginia is a fairly safe bet....but the drive is awful!
