Here is the 24 hour shear tendency (Changes) It looks to me that both systems have some serious red to deal with. It may be worth watching since the shear has been droping in both areas around 93L and 94L. This year anything can happen.

AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE ALONG A TROPICAL WAVE IS CENTERED ABOUT 100
MILES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF BARBADOS. THIS SYSTEM HAS BEEN PRODUCING A
CONCENTRATED AREA OF THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY NEAR THE DEVELOPING
CIRCULATION CENTER DURING THE PAST FEW HOURS. UPPER-LEVEL WINDS
APPEAR MARGINALLY CONDUCIVE FOR ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT... AND IT IS
POSSIBLE THAT THIS SYSTEM COULD BECOME A TROPICAL DEPRESSION DURING
THE NEXT DAY OR TWO AS IT MOVES WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AT ABOUT 10 MPH.
REGARDLESS OF WHETHER OR NOT A TROPICAL DEPRESSION FORMS... THIS
SYSTEM COULD BRING SOME GUSTY WINDS AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS TO
PORTIONS OF THE WINDWARD AND LEEWARD ISLANDS OVERNIGHT TONIGHT AND
ON SUNDAY.

Thanks rjgator. Now I see why this invests looks so good right now. If shear stays anywhere near what it is now to the north, then it will not have a good chance at all for further development. But she sure looks pretty tonight.

Could just mean great surf (I love Rincon! Brent, Rincon is a town on the west coast of PR known for its great surf - it's also really pretty there, and great people)
On the other hand, I was supposed to go sailing to Vieques, leaving tomorrow evening and then St. Thomas for a few days...so I know how you are feeling. Pack or not?

They don't sound very optimistic... a very tiny area for possible development.

Model runs tend to indicate no fish.

TMI overpass at 2-3Z right over 94L. On board radar reveals a big, healthy looking curved band. Definitely improving in structure since this morning.
