canearade is a form of Gatorade for hurricanes they love it.you can tell how much they love it base on how fast they gain strength.

good news is that a major cold snap is on the way and the northern Gulf should cool some over the next few weeks.

There is 78 degree water over the loop. But the Gulf coast is around 68 to 70. Just think the loop got over 95 this year. A tropical cyclone go in there...It went boom to 200 mph...

Well, here we are in mid march, and the situation with SSTs in the loop current is only going to get worse.I cant think of anything that would prevent temps from becoming like last year.We have simply run out of time.I really think we will see storms develop in same areas as 05,pray we just dont have as many.

The caribbean is below normal sst's. Much colder then last year...Also most of the Atlantic is below normal. The only area that I would watch is the gulf this season. I think the loop might get into the lower 90s.

Not so fast. What will you say in July/August when the coast of Africa is 82 degrees, the Bahamas and eastern Florida coast are near 90 degrees, and the Caribbean is engulfed in the 90s?
