I love cold temperatures! Still, that might be still too cold for me!

I read some interesting stuff on how between Dec. 15th and Jan. 15th that Moscow was about 8 degrees above normal temp. wise...but between Jan. 15th and Jan. 26th Moscow is now 15 degrees below normal! That is a major turn around. They went from a very warm pattern to a very, very record breaking cold pattern very quickly. I am worried that the same will happen in the U.S.

I think the coldest here in S FL will be in the upper 40's as always. If that air comes down it will be modified. Winter might actually be over here in S FL.

Just sampled some low temperature readings for the recent cold snap, here's what I found.

-61 in Chandalar Lake
-59 in Fort Yukon
-53 in Bettles
-53 in Nenana
-52 in Eagle
-51 in Fairbanks
-50 in Central
-50 in McGrath
-50 in Northway
-50 in Selawik
-46 in Kotzebue
-41 in Deadhorse
-32 in Barrow
-32 in Nome
-11 in Anchorage

Now that is cold. I couldn't find any colder than -61 though. Still freakin cold.
