I just think that it is impossible to know exactly when a storm will a form and where before it even happens. If they turn out right, then it is just a considence.

not much. I believe it about as much as I believed the people who said the world was ending on Jan. 1st 2000 (which didn't happen). Truly, I think what she said "could" come true (out of coincidence), but the chances are probably slim. Anyone could say that a horrible storm was going to hit Florida and being Florida...they may be right.

I know, and that is why her comments may be able to play out, but really anyone who has knowledge about what is expected this season could make a similar claim. She is basically just making an educated guess and calling it a "psychic prediction".

This is not an official forecast or predition....

I predict that a Tropical Cyclone will occur on this earth during the Months of,

January, Feb, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December. I also forecast some of those Cyclones to be intense and some weak. I forecast some of them to hit land and some of them to stay out to sea. I forecast that they will produce rain, wind and storm surge.

I wonder how my prediction will play out.

wow "June is considered a slow month for tropical storms to develop. In the 2006 season, look for a tropical system to develop in early June in the Texas Gulf region and off the coast of Mexico. The June 11th full Moon shines its light on the Gulf Coast again - intense rainfall that is the precursor for the rest of the season."
"June 18th finds heavy rain in the area of Puerto Rico. Low pressure develops in the Caribbean and moves north. For the June 25th new Moon, tropical activity is just east of the Leeward Islands plus another stormy event for the coast of Mexico."

I would put more faith in their hurricane predictions if they could conjure up the winning FL lotto numbers for this week!

I don't even remotely recall Hurricane Edith in 1971. I've never even heard of it. Where have I been?

LMAO. If this forecast is remotely close, storm chasers just need to set up shop at a hotel downtown. This is borderline absurd (noting that I got raindrops from 7 storms and ex-storms in 2002)...

Louisiana of Note:

7/3-9 - Strong winds early, heavy rain later
7/17-24 - Stormy Weather. Heavy Rain.
7/25-8/2 - Heavy Rain
8/2-8 - Thunderstorms
8/31-9/6 - Torrential rain and flooding
9/7-13 - Tropical Storm develops with destructive winds
9/14-21 - Heavy rain; flash flooding; strong squalls. High humidity (that part's right)
9/22-29 - Hurricane on central Gulf Coast
9/30-10/5 - Severe storm threat
10/13-21 - Hurricane
10/22-29 - More wet weather for this beleaguered state

LMAO. This is unbelieveable. I better stockpile a month's worth of booze if I'm to believe this forecast. 8-)
