Yeah, I didn't really start this thread to hear people talk about how much they hate someone they've never met. I think she and her behavior are entertaining, but I certainly don't hate her for it.

Would a mod mind locking it before someone says something they regret? I feel a fight is imminent.

Well disagreeing with someone and saying you hate them are different. Plus, the reason I said to lock it is because it's only a matter of time before someone starts throwing names. Just trying to keep the peace.

Also, in Janice's defense, if you performed a search on just two words - Britney Spears - you'd likely find a slew of old topics, about her antics - updated monthly just about!

Then again, if what we're stating about BS is alarming, maybe you shouldn't do a search!

Why does Janice need a defense? I didn't say anything about her, nor did anyone else unless I missed a post.

You know as well as I do that when someone (who isn't you or Janice) says something like they hate a girl for posing nude, there's going to be a fight on here. I won't try to prevent it next time. No good deed goes unpunished, that's for sure.

Regit - I still don't think anything posted on this thread was a challenge to a fight, in any way. They were merely opinions about BS! I'm the last one that likes to pick a fight but I also wanted to point out that we've discussed dear Britney (my nic) a lot on the Off Topic Forum. Can we help it when a celeb gives us just cause for doing so? LOL The girl is asking for criticism, if you ask me.

Okay, that's my last post on this thread. I still haven't seen one word that generates a fight in here.

Opinions are one thing but saying you hate someone youhave never met is pathetic. Its not like the pictures are in anyway pornagraphic and there are a good majprity that would argue an artistic aspect to them.

How many who are bashing the pictures have actually seen them? Insulting someone because of pictures like these is just prudish. I am the first to agree that she has done some stupid things recently and her choice of husband has a lot to do with that....but insulting class, parenting skills without knowing the full story is wrong. To me that is comparable to guilty until proven innocent. To the less prudish and more open minded a pregnant women is a beautiful thing regardless of anything that has gone on in their past.

Yeah she just posed in GQ wasnt it? All the pics were tasteful, as is the ones with Brittany. I used to think she was attractive then she became annoying, These pics are nice ones of her, even though shes half naked. They are tasteful though. I like the black hair.

I've seen them. I don't like them. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with a woman's body - pregnant or not. But MY opinion is that I don't like the public display.

One more post from me. The reason this is shocking, IMHO, is that Britney told Matt Lauer (in a recent interview) her privacy had been invaded, she was in a sense hounded by the press, so much so that she broke down in tears during that interview. Every little mistake she made was magnified for all to see.

So you got the impression she was going to be granted her request - given her privacy. Or at least stay out of the limelight.

And then she does this magazine cover/shoot!

It seems as if she doesn't have much sense! Did she miss the press talking about her or what? When you ask for privacy, you don't then pose nude, pregnant to boot, on a magazine cover! Any reaction she receives from this stunt/decision, is deserved.

Actually.....she is ALL naked! Just because her hands are half covering those breasts doesn't mean she is HALF dressed!

Personally, I am very tired of young stars and starlets who are the role models our young people seem to put in high esteem using any tactic they can to put themselves in the limelight. I see too many kids trying hard to match their actions.

Don't get me wrong...I loved being pregnant...but that rotund belly with the growing baby should be a little more private than posing naked on a public magazine...especially when a tearful public apperance begged for privacy........p
