there seems to be a spin with this Bahamas blob - does anybody see it?

If convection continues to persist I say we will have 95L

This might probably be 95L since 93L is starting to disappate.

I am shocked that more people aren't concerned with this blob......you have a developing Bermuda High to the north and a big blob of concentrated convection that seems to be maintaining today....warm SSTs. Upper level winds are not horrible at this time as noted by the clouds fanning on all sides - once the UL moves away and if there is still convection Florida needs to pay attention to this system....

I think this new blob east of the Bahamas will pulse up and down. Look what happened to 93L it just went poof. Actually if its there tomorrow I'll really be concerned because its only been 10 for this new blob.

If you look at the sat you see westerly winds over Florida from blowoff from 94L would that have an effect on the Bahama Blob on direction or development?

problem is if we see a persistent area of convection like we are starting to see now - winds can become favorable. Actually winds are marginally favorable right now. Just look at the sat pics - you can see the cloud tops are not getting ripped apart like the wave to the south is.

looks like the blob is becoming more organized today....I definitely see some kind of rotation in the clouds based on sat pics....although no LLC yet - lets hope one does not form though....
