I know we all love the tropics but be very respective with the joy. It has brought much pain to many families over the past few years as TDs have grown to massive hurricanes. Being indirectly affected by Rita during the evacuation was scary.

the BAMM is the best model right now as it would KILL this system. The BAMD is the worst, because it would allow a much better environment for strengthening.

it is of a concern for that if the storm develops the models will begin to shift to a more northward track which is the case on SOME storms.I hate to say it but lets hope this one does not come up the east voast but stays south or out to sea!

Hooters and hollerers...

While I understand that you are excited, please keep in mind that this storm poses a threat to some of Storm2k's members. The fact that you are "wahoooo"-ing and "YAAAAAAA!"-ing this threat of their's is practically a slap in their face.

Please, try to keep our other members in mind before hooting and hollering over something of this caliber.

Thanks.

So are the green ones since TD03 isn't strong enough to be affected by the "medium" or "deep" layer flow.

True, but it seems like that region will be affected either way this system goes. One good thing about that track though would be that it would shear the system apart and not allow it to become something even worse down the road.

You're usually rather conservative, at least to me. It's interesting that you speak of this system as if it's a serious threat. What do you see in the future for this depression?

IMO, I think this will travel just north of the islands, pass through the bahamas, and then the FL straights and be somewhere in the GOM by the weekend or next week. I can't wait to see what the NHC has to say though.

Winds are coming from the NNE in Guadaloupe.

The winds at Dominica are beginning to come from the NNW.

it could be downgraded and still kill thousands of people because as long as it has rain it is possible to flood on those mountainous terrains of haiti and DR
