Yes that is correct. I do indeed use a wheelchair.

I just may have to ask about that. Although, I do a lot of bending already. Obviously, with Spina Bifida, right now the walking part can't be helped.

Jeremy,
I am familar with Spina Bifida, due to a neighbors son that I watched grow up. When we first moved here, this boy was akindergardener and became friends with my boys. He could walk but limped very badly. He too was born with it and his parents had surgery on him to enclose his spine. Over the years as he grew he had several surgeries to help improve his ability to walk. Now that he is an adult, he still has a slight limp but he can walk and his spine is fairly straight and enclosed. I wish you the best of luck with any surgery you may have to have in the future and will continue to pray for you. Having some one who cares really makes a difference in the recovery process.

Bump...today is the big test day. Had my lab work already this morning and now am waiting until my 9:15...schedule's on the first page, just be in prayer for me throughout the day today. I know I have a lot of support from people here, and from other places...thanks!

Surgery, and possibly extensive surgery, will come in September sometime. More when I know it.
