I agree, Pojo. It helps to have a practical knowledge of medicine and the politics of treatment. Sometimes (not always!) doctors have their own reasons for their routines. I've had a few run-ins wih MDs from time to time.

Ooooh, I need to clarify something. I'm okay. Everything is fine right now. I'm sorry for any misunderstanding.
I was posting to give some love and support to Stephanie and everyone going through the process. It can be hellish, especially if you feel that you are alone.

Actually, my gynecologist called and left a message on my home phone today so I have to call back. My script from him was only for the diagnostic mammogram and the ultrasound. I agree, that 6 months is a long wait and I want to know now what the heck it is. I'll have to see what my doctor says tomorrow.
