Some of the hardest items to find in our hurricane ravaged area was towels, face cloths, sheet sets, pillows and blankets. I had to drive an hour away from this area to find these things. It took over a week and a long out of town trip again and still couldn't find matresses. Thank God my future daughter in law was able to quickly grab some off of the truck where she works because others I know were weeks without a matress. I now have the bed and bath linens stocked in my evac trailer so that when I return I at least have that. If you have the means then a matress would be priceless but I don't have the extra room.
