It seems most the 0z models are showing ice for around the I-35E area westward except the Parallel GFS, I don't have the Euro could someone tell me what it is showing?

Looking at reports coming from the southwest part of the Area....wet bulb effect doesn't appear to be present, temps are holding steady as dew points rise/precip falls.

Yeah, we are getting some decent showers right now. Dew point jumped from 25 to 28. Temp staying steady at 33. Looks like the local mets will be celebrating tomorrow.

Freeze line has remained stationary from the 7pm readings. However current DP readings are mostly in the mid 20's across DFW area. Will Temps hold steady or drop a degree or 2 once precip really sets in?

Rain has moved in here, almost sounds like a bit of sleet is mixed in, temps in the mid 30s with DPs above freezing. Be careful where there is icing.

Bridges/Overpasses & roads are icing pretty bad in NW tarrant county in the Haslet & Azle areas.

Wise & Montague counties have been upgraded to Winter Storm Warning criteria.

Short range models still showing potential for heavy precip moving through between 6-9 am.. In that time, definitely need to watch those areas below 30 degrees with the intense bands..

We're definitely seeing some wet bulb cooling here in NW Austin. Closest weather station is down to 33.6, dew point is up to 30.

I find it odd that EWX felt there wouldn't be any lighting when clearly there is here in Austin. It's not frequent but it's been fairly consistent. As I'm writing this I'm looking out the window and just saw another flash.

Well, here we go, heavy precip moving into metro. Dallas just not cold enough, Fort Worth marginal at 29-32 depending on what side your on. Wet bulbing/heavy precip could bring us down a degree or 2. & roads deteriorating fast in parker county where temps are 27-29.

I actually haven't seen much evidence of wet bulbing where the precip is moving through, temps should remain steady through 10am.. Maybe a degree or 2 drop but I don't see anyone dropping more than 2 degrees even with wet bulbing.
